The DARE project has officially kicked off with a successful two-day consortium meeting held in Berlin, Germany, on 28–29 October 2025. This marked the formal start of our Horizon Europe initiative, bringing together all project partners to align on objectives, roles, and implementation strategies.
Day 1: Setting the Foundations
The first day focused on building a shared understanding across the consortium. Through structured icebreakers and partner pitch sessions, participants introduced their organisations, work packages, and areas of expertise. These sessions fostered open dialogue, encouraging knowledge exchange and setting a collaborative tone for the project. The discussions highlighted strong engagement, with partners actively contributing questions, insights, and perspectives on how to maximise collective impact.
Day 2: From Vision to Action
The second day centred on operational coordination and strategic planning. Key activities included:
-
Aligning project management and internal procedures
-
Establishing communities of practice
-
Planning upcoming trials and training activities
-
Sharing work package goals, milestones, and long-term visions
These sessions ensured a common understanding of workflows, responsibilities, and expected outcomes across the consortium.
With a strong foundation in place, the DARE project now enters its implementation phase. Over the next three years, partners will work closely together to deliver innovative solutions and generate meaningful impact in line with Horizon Europe objectives.
