Brief biography of partner

The European Forum for Urban Security (Efus) is the only European network of local and regional authorities dedicated to urban security and crime prevention. Created in 1987, it brings together nearly 250 cities and regions from 17 countries to promote dialogue, cooperation, and capacity building between local authorities, practitioners, and policymakers. Efus supports its members in designing, implementing, and evaluating integrated security and resilience policies through research, training, and European cooperation projects.

Role in the project

Efus represents the voice of cities and regions within DARE. Its role is to ensure that local authorities and their communities are fully involved in shaping and testing new approaches to crisis management and coordination.
