The DARE Project participated in the CERIS Disaster Resilience Days 2026, held in Brussels from 30 June to 2 July 2026, where project partner Carr Communications represented the consortium.
As part of the CMINE – Crisis Management Innovation Network cluster exhibition, DARE welcomed visitors to its stand, presenting the project’s communication materials and engaging with stakeholders from across the European disaster resilience community.
Over the three-day event, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, first responders and innovators came together to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of disaster resilience and preparedness. The programme addressed key topics including strategic foresight, command and control systems, whole-of-society preparedness, international cooperation, and the role of emerging technologies in strengthening Europe’s resilience.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to present DARE’s objectives and its work on enhancing disaster preparedness and cross-border emergency coordination. It also enabled the consortium to connect with fellow Horizon Europe projects, European Commission representatives and other organisations active in the disaster resilience ecosystem, fostering valuable exchanges and opportunities for future collaboration.
DARE thanks the European Commission and the CERIS community for organising this important event and looks forward to continuing to contribute to strengthening disaster resilience across Europe.
