On May 19th, during the first day of the Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE) Spring Conference, participants took part in the insightful Practitioners’ Corner session, dedicated to bringing operational perspectives into discussions on European security and resilience.
Representing DARE Project, Sergio Pirone shared valuable reflections on the evolving role of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), highlighting how they can move beyond static documentation to become practical operational tools supporting European interoperability in emergency and civil protection operations.
The session underscored the importance of practitioner-driven approaches in strengthening coordination, preparedness, and effective response capabilities across Europe.
